Long Description: Stained glass is a fascinating medium to work with. It is brittle but flows like liquid with color and light. It fractures and shatters but is very strong. It bridges the man-made and the natural world of beauty. A finished piece will look different each hour of the day. I have been making stained glass art for twenty years. I learn something new with each piece I make. I taught elementary school for twenty five years including ten years of art and science. During this time I worked regularly with stained glass filling up windows in my home and making gifts for friends and relatives. Since retiring from teaching I have found more time to draw with glass. My recent work includes commissions for window designs in homes in Ann Arbor Southfield and Beaver Island Michigan.
